Great! :)
Thanks, we'll contact you soon.
Anyone who has been through a rebranding process knows what an intense experience it can be. Months of hard work and long hours hashing over questions such as “who are we” and “what we do” are all part of this climb. It can seem grueling, exhilarating, and frustrating all at the same time.
Rebranding is a critical part of staying relevant in the era of digital transformation. That’s why Integrant has put their best foot forward to take their brand efficacy to a whole new level. We don’t just want to be known as a cool software engineering firm that writes great code. It’s about our people, who we hire, and the way they treat each other.
But what do we really mean by a rebrand and why do we do it? At Integrant, we recruit our engineers for our development centers in Jordan and Egypt, so having a strong culture plays a big part in how we operate. We strive for empathy in all of our relationships, so we can equip our team members to be the best they can be.
In the world of COVID-19, this means working remotely and balancing work life issues, especially for parents who are now often responsible for their children’s lessons. We also pay more attention to our workers’ mental health, knowing that they’re under more than usual amounts of stress from all the unknowns caused by this pandemic.
While we've always known who we are at the core and how we want to impact the software industry, we've never been unequivocally clear about how we plan to tackle that. When we talk about our rebrand, we are thinking more holistically than perhaps we’ve ever done before. With that in mind, this article will summarize all of the hard work and hours and hours and hours of conversations we’ve had over who we are, who we want to be, where we’re going, and how we want to act moving forward.
When you think of a rebrand, the first thing that often comes to mind is the company logo. The company “insignia” is really the first look that people get of your organization. Tailor Brands really drives this point home in the following statement:
"So, why is a logo important? Because it grabs attention, makes a strong first impression, is the foundation of your brand identity, is memorable, separates you from competition, fosters brand loyalty, and is expected by your audience."
There were a number of reasons why we chose the new logo below to exemplify who we are and what we stand for. In the process, we had to ask ourselves a number of sometimes challenging questions about our values, identity, and culture, which we felt weren’t reflected in our old logo.
Is it closely connected or appropriate to what is being done or considered?
Does it work well across various media and at all sizes? Does it blend well with photo and colored backgrounds?
Does it set you apart from your competitors and align with ideal clients?
Does it provide a powerful visual identity?
Orange – associated with joy, sunshine, and playfulness
Blue – exudes the feelings of trust, reliance, security, wisdom, and strength
After a considerable amount of research and work, we developed our new logo as a powerful visual reflection of our agility, flexibility, and the ability to bring different segments together into unison. Colors exude a certain psychological reaction, and by bringing together the blue and orange hues, we portray ourselves as a global community who is greater than the sum of our parts.
In addition to a logo that currently reflects who we are as a company, we wanted to update our visual identity to feel more like us, too. We worked with our team to really discuss and understand what we’ve learned, especially in recent years, and pinpoint how we want to impact not just software, but the world. The result has been a fresher, more vibrant implementation of our updated brand. Check it out:
This new look and feel was just the start. We translated our passion for changing the software development landscape into our new brand, as well as adding a splash of our personality in the form of new Integrant avatars made from iconic stick figures that illustrate our employees hard at work or people in our industry doing great things. The pseudo-similar nature of these avatars represents our commitment to a one-team culture, while reserving a splash of our unique personalities when you get to work with us more closely. See them in action below:
We combined our new logo, our updated look and feel, and our hardworking avatars to complete our new website. This version highlights some key programs that we’ve always used for to guarantee project stability and predictability as well as our outstanding service, and includes more detailed industry experience and services.
Lastly, our vision, mission, and values are what really guided us throughout this whole process. We answer the questions of what lasting impact we want to bring about in the world, how we plan to do that day-to-day, and what our guiding principles are along the way. We are excited to share more below.
In describing the meaning of vision, one source well puts it this way:
"A vision is a vivid mental image of what you want your business to be at some point in the future, based on your goals and aspirations. Having a vision will give your business a clear focus, and can stop you heading in the wrong direction."
A business vision is also about changing the world. Now, in today’s era of digital transformation, obviously every company has to be ultra-competitive to keep ahead of the market. In fact, ask yourself: “Have I found a company that DOES NOT want to change the world?” Likely not, or if so, they’re no longer in business.
At Integrant, our vision is simple and straightforward:
A vision is something that is supposed to stretch you as an organization. It’s a driving passion that keeps your employees fired up and excited to show up each day! At the same time, a vision should be a bit lofty and potentially unattainable.
Well known entrepreneur, author, motivational speaker, and real estate investor, Grant Cardone, says that in order to hit the goals you previously though impossible, you need to aim ten times higher than you’re currently doing. It’s called The 10X Rule and the premise is that if you aim really high, you’ll still achieve really great results beyond the mere status quo.
At Integrant, we always strive to be 10X better than anyone else and to overdeliver on results for our customers. We believe this is the secret to our success!

But we are also compelled to transform the software development industry because we know what it’s like to be on the other side. We KNOW what it means and feels like to have a project go all wrong. After 28 years and much trial and error, we understand what it’s like to face challenges with engineers and teams.
Leveraging those years of insights, best practices, and missteps at times helps explain why we’re so passionate about doing what’s right for our employees and helping them learn and grow stronger each day.
Many people tend to get vision and mission mixed up. A vision is your raison d'être – your reason to be, or what gets you going in the morning; it’s somewhat aspirational and describes what you want to be as a company. The mission, on the other hand, is more hands on and is the vehicle for getting there. At Integrant, our mission is as follows:
This mission describes in more detail what we’re doing to change the world. Or, in other words, what exactly do we mean to “transform the software development lifecycle?” A mission should be boots-on-the-ground relevant and practical for both leadership and employees. At Integrant, we’ve outlined some tangible goals for how we strive to show up every day to support our customers and teams and transform the software development lifecycle.
In a famous Ted Talk a few years ago , Simon Sinek explained WHY Apple is so successful by explaining how the famous computer giant approaches its mission. Here's how Apple actually communicates.
"Everything we do, we believe in challenging the status quo. We believe in thinking differently. The way we challenge the status quo is by making our products beautifully designed, simple to use and user friendly. We just happen to make great computers. Want to buy one?"
Totally different, right? You're ready to buy a computer from me. I just reversed the order of the information. What it proves to us is that people don't buy what you do; people buy why you do it.
Sinek’s point is appropriate for all organizations that are in the business of changing the world. At Integrant, our “why” is quite clear and straightforward – we strive to build the best software possible to please our customers.
The values of a company are the qualities and attributes that it brings to the table to support the vision and mission. Lumen Learning has brought the relationship between vision, mission, and values together nicely in this statement:
The vision and mission state where the organization is going (vision) and what it will do to get there (mission)…. The values statement defines what the organization believes in and how people in the organization are expected to behave—with each other, with customers and suppliers, and with other stakeholders.
At Integrant, we hold to a clear and compelling set of values that SHOWCASE who we are, what we aspire to be, and how we plan to get there.
At Integrant, grit means getting the job done and never giving up. Our engineers are relentless in their pursuit of your success whether that means finding an innovative solution to a seemingly common problem, working diligently to adhere to a seemingly unrealistic release schedule, or getting back on track after a seemingly inevitable setback. We believe if our employees have grit, they can accomplish anything.
We just roll up our sleeves and get right in the thick of it. Our engineers individually take ownership in their work and actions, which rolls up to the team level, giving our customers’ teams that are a breeze to work with. This means that we focus on putting one in the win column for our customers no matter what their goals are. We also strive to put one in the win column for our engineers’ development and growth. We care about winning as one team.
And maybe even show our vulnerable side once in a while. We know everything can’t always be sunshine and roses. We take the challenging with the good, but rest assured our number one priority is always a one-team win. We will always come to the table ready to go with solutions. To us, open communication and honesty are critical in building long-lasting partnerships with our customers and just as importantly, our teams.
From tight timelines to lack of capacity, from budget constraints to project unknowns, we’ve got your back. We have ready-to-go teams that have been tested and primed. We take care to identify which of our engineers work best together to shape your ideal dream team.
Our use of Agile means we’re ready to pivot before you are. Our proactive planning means we spend a lot of time thinking about our engineers’ development, our technology roadmap, and how we’re going to consistently evolve with each of our customers and ultimately, how to guarantee your success. We dare you to try to surprise us!
That’s why we hire and offer our best engineers to work on your projects. That’s why we painstakingly build teams utilizing 12+ different factors from culture fit to skillset to communication style and more. That’s why we work with companies we value and want to help make their mark on the world. That’s why we have a people over profits approach.
For our employees, we will always provide a fair, transparent working environment for them to thrive and grow. Our employees are integral to our success and we value their dedication and passion. Our internal policies are created and evolve with their best interests in mind.
For our customers, we’ll always be fair. Whether it’s pricing, resource quality and allocation, recommendations, or solutions, our moral compass always points north. If we think there’s a better solution, we’ll tell you. If we think we can do better, we’ll tell you. If we think you can do better, we’ll tell you (respectfully, of course!). We’ll always tell you what you need to know because we see this as a true partnership.
From policies to programs, methodologies, and our custom software, we do everything with service in mind. Service to us means that internally and externally, we are committed to providing value, ensuring stability and reducing risk, being easy to work with, providing transparency, and solving problems on a daily basis. We’ve found that service-oriented engineers are passionate, strive for more, take ownership, solve problems, and communicate well. They’re also dedicated to their own growth, their team, and our customers, and to achieving customer goals.
So, there you have it – a portrait of our shared values, vision, and mission at Integrant. As stated at the outset, we’ve been busy lately with lots of hard work and hours upon hours of conversations building out and refining who we are, who we want to be, where we’re going, and how we want to act moving forward.
But we’re not done! In fact, there are some really exciting updates in the pipeline to be rolled out soon. One that you’ll want to pay close attention to is CodeVoyance. This is a brand-new reporting platform we designed for our customers and teams to get an inside look at how their project is doing.
This initiative is a big part of Integrant’s new vision and mission and supports our aim to create a “winning formula of people, process, tools, and data to enable predictable results.”
